Today, I had the opportunity to hold an important meeting at Chembur Police Station with senior IPS officer Shri Mahesh Patil ji. The discussion was centered around two major concerns raised by citizens- unauthorized hawker encroachments on MG Road and the increasing issue of illegal share rickshaws operating across various parts of Ghatkopar.
These problems are not only affecting traffic flow but also posing safety risks to pedestrians and commuters. I emphasized the need for strict and sustained enforcement to ensure public convenience and uphold the rule of law.
I appreciate the proactive response from the police department and will continue to follow up on behalf of the people of Ghatkopar.
